Me and my brother Stopped off in our camper in the lay-by and popped in to watch the euro football match. The manager/owner was hands down one of the nicest, friendliest blokes I’ve met. Very accommodating with our dog aswel. 5 stars would definitely recommend
Stopped in the truck at the lay-by near to this place. Very warm welcome, attentive owner/barman/chef. Very, very nice meal! Very accommodating to my request for a takeout meal. Highly recommend the food and the bar service!
Got caught out with driving hours, ended up on a night out, i drive a day cab and got a room here, had a fantastic meal, very well priced and the food is phenomenal! And the service is just astonishing. Drinks are well priced too. Would happily stay here again.
Stopped in layby called in owner/chef spot on ordered fish and chip to take away he ran out of takeaway forks gave me proper 1 beers spot on even bottles ice cold deffo be in there again
Weekend break in this quaint hotel off the A66. Excellent service, clean and tidy. Accommodates dogs, has a large grass area at the back. Food absolutely wonderful, looking forward for my next visit.
We'd been wanting to visit the Vintage Inn for some time, and it didn't disappoint. We were warmly welcomed and attentively looked after throughout our meal. All three courses were beautifully presented and delicious. The Inn has a lovely atmosphere, like stepping back in time, but in a good way. Clean, warm and welcoming. We'll definitely be going back.
A friendly welcome from the landlord and the best lamb's liver for miles around. The food is exhalent.
The owner/chef was superb! So friendly and attentive, the food was amazing! Will definitely be coming again and would recommend to anyone wanting fresh home made food with great service!
